Option 4 – Buyout Licence (Unlimited Sales + Public Performance Royalties)
The cost to licence this vocal recording for commercial use is:
$207.99
You may need this type of licence if you already have a publisher and they need to control 100% of the publishing for the master recording. If you do not have a publisher that carries out publishing activities (pitching your music for Film/TV sync, registering your tracks with the Performing Rights Organisations (PRS etc), distributing your Public Performance Royalties etc) then you probably do not need this licence.
Generally, you do not need this type of licence if you are just releasing your track with a Record Label or Distributor and do not have a Publisher.
Public Performance Royalties are paid to writers and publishers directly by the Performing Rights Organisations (PRS etc) when compositions are played on radio or in public. These royalties are completely separate from Master Recording Royalties (sales, downloads & streams).
You can sell your track on any digital download store or streaming service (iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc) or release it on CD/Vinyl. You will not have to pay us any royalties from sales of your track (the master recording incorporating the vocal recording) and your publisher can register you as 100% composer of the master recording.

Free Vocals KIT’s utilize a file naming system that states the tempo, key signature, title, vocalists name, instrument, song structure and variation, separated by underscores. These elements are abbreviated to keep file names short and easily searchable.
- Vocals, Bass, Drums, Electric Guitar, and Percussion are Vox, Bss, Drms, Egtr and Prc.
- Ad_libs, Backing Vocals, Harmonies and Lead Vocals are Adl, Bv, Hrms and Le.
- Bridge, Chorus, Verse one and Verse two are Bri, Cho, Ver1 and Ver2.
- All sound recordings are 24 bit 44.1 kHz .wav files with a completely dry version (no post production) and some variations with effects such as compression, EQ and reverb (labelled with Fx)
Example:
- 128_Bb_Slow_Down_Sa_Vox_Cho_Le_D1.wav
- 128_Bb_Slow_Down_Sa_Vox_Cho_Le_D2.wav
- 128 = Tempo of 128 bpm
- Bb = Key of B Flat
- Slow_Down = KIT title
- Sa = Vocalists name
- Vox = Vocals
- Cho = Chorus
- Le = Lead Vocals
- D1 = Double 1 (first recording of lead vocals)
- D2 = Double 2 (second recording of lead vocals to give a stronger and fuller sound)
- _ = Underscore to separate KIT elements
Example Project:
All in one:
- 128_Bb_Slow_Down_All.wav
- 128_Bb_Slow_Down_All_Fx.wav
- 128_Bb_Slow_Down_Inst_All_Fx.wav
- 128_Bb_Slow_Down_Sa_Vox_All_Fx.wav
- 128_Bb_Slow_Down_Sa_Vox_All.wav
Note: All in one tracks are intended as a guide and not to be mixed with the other layers.
For example, you shouldn’t mix the Vox_All with the Vox_Le (Lead) and Vox_Hrms (Harmonies). However, you could mix the Vox_All with the individual instrumental layers, if you don’t want control over mixing the individual vocal layers.
Vocals:
- 128_Bb_Slow_Down_Sa_Vox_Ver1_Le_D1.wav
